This camera was done for a Samsung hotsite. Analysing its shape, I considered a NURBS approach would be better, as I could add more details and allow the Art Directors to play more freely.
The reference counted on was simply the real camera itself, no technical drawings.
Most surfaces have G1 continuity at least. Major surfaces has G2.
The modelling method is NURBS.
The rendering platform is Mental Ray.
